Applied for a permanent role near the start of September and was called the day after to discuss the opportunity further. After being put forward for the role I was advised a few days later that I was successful in getting to interview. Andrew Shaw advised he would get dates and get back to me. He followed up a few days later to advise they were still awaiting a response from the employer, about when interviews could take place. Then it all went quiet. Two weeks later I called Andrew Shaw and explained I was still awaiting news of the interview date. He explained he still hadn't got any dates but would chase this up and get back to me in the next couple of days. Two weeks later and still no call back, so I called again and was advised the same thing. Another 2-3 weeks later and the same again. Each time, I asked if it was simply a case that the role had been withdrawn or that they'd changed their mind about me, but I was assured by Andrew that I was still a good candidate for the role and that they were genuinely still awaiting a response. Fast forward to mid-November now and I messaged Andrew for an update again, but no response since. I don't know much about Ventula's reputation, but my experience to date has been somewhat shambolic. Even if it is genuinely a case where the employer still has not provided a date for the interview, I would have at least expected a call, email or even private message on a weekly basis to keep me updated. The lack of service and communication makes me feel like they don't value me as an applicant.

Applied for a contract role, called the next day to followup and was told the consultant would call back, the chap I spoke to was rather indifferent and sounded half asleep Didn't receive a call back but instead received a text message addressed to another candidate called Michael for a totally different role. Not impressed with the level if professionalism and service. Waste if my effort, would not recommend this agency.
