Doumo Japanese restaurant

I love this place. Their food is absolutely delicious. I usually order the katsu curry and/or some sushi. They appear to be closed for awhile now, though. Im unsure why and if theyre reopening, but I would love to return!

Would give this place zero stars if possible. Made a booking for 6pm. Arrived at 602 and was told that they were not yet open. When I inquired whether I could wait inside as it was a cold windy day was told I could not. Waited for 15 mins. When I went back inside to ask how much longer the wait would be given that my booking was for 6pm was told that they were deciding not to open at all. Absolute worst customer experience I have ever had. Avoid this place.

Hands down the best Japanese food in the UK. My friends come here almost every week and their service is very attentive and amazing. Daniel in particular has ensured that we have the best service and food each time weve had a chance to pop in for some sushi. The katsu buns are a personal favorite of mine and probably the best Ive had.

Ordered takeaway from here and still laughing at the amount of food and quality I received for 62. Unbelievably bad - I would stay clear of here! Special mention to the squid and Katsu Buns which were truely awful.
