Penfold Pension

Hi. I had a small pension with Penfold which I closed in May/June 2022,and had no issues with them. At the end of the financial year I decided to check my tax code with HMRC they informed me that for 2023 I owed them over 6k and will be deducted monthly for the coming year. After I asked why I owed them so much they investigated and they informed me that whatever paperwork that Penfold submitted instead of using 393 which was the correct figure they put 12,400, and the only way to rectify this was for Penfold to send a P16. I have been trying to contact them for over a week now, said they would get back to me! Still waiting! Customer service is shocking. I will keep phoning till this is sorted.

Great app, so easy to use. It makes investing money in a pension the quickest and most straightforward I have seen. And, most importantly, it is generating returns in line with expectations. Highly recommended!

Platform is very easy to use and understand. The support from the team is great and always respond within a very timely manner. App is very user friendly, easy to see how my pension is doing and I'm in control of my contributions with the click of a button.

Was looking for a private pension for newly self-employed and came across Penfold. Reviews were good so gave it a go. It was so easy to set up and start using, great service, but won't know how good it really is for at least a decade ;)
