Excellent customer service - I had my eyes tested at a national high street chain but couldn't find frames that suited me there. I came to Rose Opticians and found they had a great range of frames and chose one. After receiving the glasses and trying them for a while I found my vision wasn't very good so came back to Rose Opticians. They were brilliant - they retested my eyes, found the prescription wasn't correct and provided replacement lenses for the cost of the new eye test only, even though it wasn't their fault that the original prescription wasn't correct. My vision is now much better and I'm very happy with new glasses - many thanks Rose Opticians!

Popped in to see if they could loosen the nose pads on my new pairs of glasses - woman at the reception desk was helpful and did it carefully right there. Great service!

I was very sceptical about visiting this place after reading the most recent reviews, but I must say Mr Tochukwu Kanu changed my mind. I have been experiencing some discomfort with my eyes and contacted ny GP who referred me to a service called MECS which stands for Minor Eye Condition Service. Provided to support the NHS. The service was free to my suprise. This was the most convenient out of the available locations so I called. I first spoke to a very helpful receptionist who offered me an appointment for the day after at 5pm to work around my personal commitments. I filled out a online form which took approximately 6 mins and received a confirmation text. On the day of my appointment I received a phone call by another lady who asked me to come before 5. I presume this was due to the fact they didn't want to work late from the response after I declined the offer. "Fair enough" I did my best to get there sooner than the scheduled time out of courtesy. When I arrived I was greeted by another lady with short curly hair who told me to go grab a coffee as I was very early. This confused me due to the earlier phone call. She didn't apologise just walked away and waved me over to the room not even a minute Later. I was attended to by Tochukwu Kanu who examined my eye and performed all necessary tests after asking me enough to know exactly what was going on. He then made as much effort to explain this to me in normal terms. I have never had anyone care enough to break this all down for me. I now feel confident that I received the best support and am using the right medication to restore my eye condition. Excellent service from the optometrist! Not so great from the highly confused and clueless reception staff.
