Highly recommend this place for a cozy romantic evening. Food is divine and they've just opened a new restaurant in Farringdon that won a star. Amazing staff and delicious natural wine.

Go for the food, just buy a bottle of wine instead. Tasting menu was fine. From the reviews expecting to be blown away but overall pretty standard fare. Broth was delicious. Pork scratchings were well trimmed, but mushy and lacked the crunch to carry the roe. Lobster toast was probably the best thing we ate. Most disappointing was the drinks. Pre-mixed martini that was probably a 3:1 vermouth. Very bitter and lacked garnish. At 52pp for a wine pairing I was expecting bold flavourful wines that would cut through the fat as our server told us. A semi-pettillant brut to start, with little in the way beyond a supermarket cava for flavour, a flat white, a light red with little on the nose or palate. The only saving grace was a delightful sherry to finish (certainly needed with a custard tart so sour I had to lose the topping). I would rather have spent 100 on a very nice bottle of white than come away feeling like I had been robbed. Would be a 3.5, but google doesnt offer that option, and the food was certainly better than a 3*.
