Skyros were recommended to us by our architect. Our build was a double storey wrap around which effectively meant knocking down the house and rebuilding & extending. This was over the period of covid in the summer of 2020. We saw a few builders over this time, but as soon as we met Skyros, we knew they were the contractors we wanted for our build. From the start of the process to the end, they were amazing. They completed our project within ten months and worked throughout lockdowns to complete the work. Communication was great and the level of trust that was built meant that we had no worries that the project wouldnt be delivered in time and on budget! Their work was incredible and has led to our house being showcased in various design magazines. We would thoroughly recommend!

We chose Skyros to carry out a two storey side extension, rear extension and upper storey extension which was completed a month ago. Navi was recommended by a family member who knows him for over 10 years. Before we committed to him, Navi asked us to see his latest project and we were happy with the quality and workmanship of this project. Following a couple of initial meetings and a series of emails we felt reassured Skyros had the skills and leadership to complete our project to a high standard and within the agreed time-frame at a mutually agreed cost. As this was our 1st major renovation project we were given sound advice and guidance by Navi and Aman throughout the build and the team went over and above to ensure our requests and aims were satisfied. Their quote was completely transparent with no hidden charges, whilst not the cheapest ( we looked at many builders) it proved to be well worth the money because it turned out that the quality and specification of their work executed was good. I guess part of the reason that no-one seems to have a bad word about the team. They also offered the flexibility for us to choose and buy some of the fixtures which they then fitted. Payments was only made when certain milestones were reached, we never felt any pressure to give early. Whenever we called them, they picked up the phone and did not fob you off. We really felt that they supported us with all the people and suppliers that were involved. You could not find a more polite, helpful, hard-working and honest builders. They deserve their excellent reputation and we would use them again in a heartbeat. We cannot recommend Navi, Aman and the Skyros team highly enough; your building project will be safe in their hands, they are true professionals. We chose Skyros to carry out a two storey extension and garage conversion which was completed a few months ago. We had seen Navi and the team working locally for a few years and each house we visited gave glowing references and consistent feedback on high standards, attention to detail, professionalism and a great attitude to deliver your house as the best version of what it could be. I have to admit that not only did Navi and the team deliver this but they also brought fresh ideas, solutions to any hurdles we came across and a positive partnership through the process that I wasnt expecting. Skyros as a company has been operating for many years so high standards, quality, putting the customer first and the ability to deliver are fundamentals for any creditable construction business to survive in these tough times. Navi, Aman and team consistently stood by these principles and more so I couldnt recommend them more highly. Thanks Navi for everything youve done to make our house the home we always wanted.

I work in property development but not with individual houses. We approached 3 building companies to carry out a five bedroom new build house for us but only one seemed an option until we became aware of the number of properties Skyros were involved with in the area. Their signage popped-up on a lot of sites. We spoke to 2 of their previous clients (who had themselves spoken to more of their other clients) and all gave them glowing references. Their quote was completely transparent and, whilst not the cheapest, it proved to be excellent value for money because it turned out that the quality and specification of their work went far beyond what would be considered typical in the trade I guess part of the reason that no-one seemed to have a bad word to say about them. They also offered the flexibility for us to choose and buy some of the fixtures which they then fitted. When it came to doing the work they excelled at incorporating changes and overcoming obstacles, helped no doubt by their experience of working on high-end projects and using high-end fittings / practices for some discerning and demanding clients. They definitely improved our design in significant ways (staircases, structure, suppliers etc). Skyros attended site every day, oversaw all of the work and where appropriate (and helpful) did additional work themselves which meant that if something needed doing urgently (plumbing, electrics, brickwork, tiling, carpentry etc) before the next piece of work could happen, they got it done and that saved us time and money on many occasions. We really felt that they had our backs with all the people and suppliers that were involved. You could not find a more polite, helpful, hard-working and honest builder. We didnt lose a minutes sleep during the whole process. They deserve their excellent reputation and we would use them again in a heartbeat.
