We had a stove fitted from scratch. The boss himself came to do the survey and we found him friendly and knowledgable as were the installers, who pointed out there was a problem with the side panel and arranged replacement without any prompting. If I could Id give 4.5 but we did have an issue with the order itself - after the survey we got emails pushing for a deposit, saying they would give us an installation date once we paid upthen nothing. Had to chase this ourselves after 4 weeks and were then told installation was a lot further off than we had been led to believe. Supply issues we get, but the response from the back office was a bit off hand, bearing in mind wed lost a month waiting for them to contact us. But alls well that ends well and we love our new stove. The boss even talked us through the first lighting! If the whole firm was just him it would be perfect

After months- long wait to get an appointment an engineer arrived to service our fire. Very satisfied with the appointment. Disappointed it was such a long wait.

I love my newly installed wood burner from HG Matthews. Being fully enclosed it gives a very contemporary update to what was initially a 50's and then a 80's fireplace. Thank you to all concerned in it's installation.
