Pippin, Charmouth

1. Drive way entrance extremely narrow to negotiate 2. No keys left for us on arrival, had to call the office and they had to bring them out as the cleaner forgot to leave them 3. Neither bath or shower downstairs would drain water away so had to call out maintenance to have them cleared on the first day 4. King sized duvet covers had two single duvets put in them! 5. No fire guard for the log burner 6. Apparently only could have one stair gate so we had to cover the top of the stairs with chairs to prevent our toddler falling down! 7. Lack of attention to detail with cleaning - had to hoover to pick up dead flies, hair and general fluff downstairs where I also found a head band and hair bobble just on the floor 8. Wifi atrocious 9. Paintwork needs a good overhaul, very tired and worn 10. Staff at Lyme Bay Holiday's were so so rude on the phone, customer service skills sorely lacking and the tone I was spoken to on several occasions was just plain vile 11. Location and view very lovely and well stocked kitchen, plenty of seating and space for everyone

Wonderful cottage with great view. Comfortable for several couples. Outfitted with most everything you might want or need. Fireplace is great on a chilly evening. Cutting edge appliances. If British or European this will be familiar to you, but if you are American or Australian you will find the auto access to be adventurously tight. Most of all, the hosts at Pippin are lovely, friendly people that will go the extra mile to make your stay special. We'd come back here in a heartbeat.
