We just came back from our little family stay at Bottoms Cottage and honestly we couldn't recommend it more! Host Emma is amazing, accommodated early check in for us with no issues at all, made sure we had everything we needed to stay with a baby and helped us with all recommendations for walks and eating out. Emma was so lovely, helpful and professional Cottage itself was really clean, nicely decorated and super cosy! It has all the amenities you need for a great stay. Bed was extremely comfortable, even with a baby sleeping in a cot next to us we managed to enjoy a great night sleep. Christmas decorations and fire outside is such a nice touch, it made us feel very festive. Cottage is also in a great location, wake up to a lovely view and there are so many scenic walks nearby as well as Glossop round the corner for eating out. We had the best time during our 2 night stay, thanks so much Emma, we cant wait to come back already!

We stayed at Woodcock Farm for a week and had a fabulous time. The property is so beautifully styled and being dog friendly was an added bonus! Just a short walk to being on various paths around the Peak District, the location was brilliant. Taking the circular walk around Mossey Lea with various pub stops en-route (The Commercial is also worth a visit, especially for a Sunday roast) is a definite must do, as well as a walk along the Longdendale Trial alongside the reservoirs. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an escape to the countryside, just perfect!
