        Last visit, half the lunch menu wasn't available (including no fish dishes) and , despite being the only customers in the pub, the two staff ignored us as we stood at the bar, while they fiddled with the coffee machine, so we didn't eat there. Previous visits have also been unsuccessful - had to return a bad pint, for instance. Such a pity. UPDATE: there is (again) new management and, hallelujah, that appear to know how to run a pub/restaurant properly! Just went for Sunday lunch and it was delicious and the staff were lovely. What a difference. I'm happy to update the score to 5 stars

        Tipped, forgetting it was Mum's day and STILL fitted us in.. They were so busy. There was a tiny issue with our order and resolved swiftly. Lovely people
