When I started to look for a photographer to cover a 50th birthday meal Alan responded to me quickly, with loads of info, a competitive quote and was extremely helpful and communicative. On the day of the birthday meal itself Alan arrived early to get some gorgeous shots of the venue, then of our guests arriving, and throughout the early part of the evening. Alan was extremely discreet and managed to get a super set of pics without any intrusion on our evening - what I wanted was a set of pics that showed off the natural ambiance rather than posing shots and that's exactly what we got!. The final USB stick was sent to me within 2 days of the event - absolutely fantastic service. I highly recommend Penguincaptures. Thank you Alan !

Alan is a lovely guy and an excellent photographer. He doesn't only do wedding photography he also does lots of other things including wildlife and portraits. I was after some great photos of me and my dog Ava who is a Labrador puppy and a very excitable one at that!! We went off to a beautiful destination in the woods where the ground was covered in bluebells and although Ava was being a pain, as puppy's are! He worked so well with us and had so much patience and made it such an enjoyable experience for not only me but Ava also!!! The pictures were abslabsoly incredible, better than I could have ever imagined and I can't thank him enough for making it a great day with amazing photographs! If you're looking for a photographer that will make you feel comfortable and get great results I highly recommend going with Penguin captures!

Excellent experience with Alan, who we used at our wedding in august 2018. He listened to our requirements, he scoped out the venues and talked to those involved. He used our ideas and came up with some other excellent ideas in keeping with our theme which produced excellent results. Very happy and would recommend him to anyone.

Great service provided from the start. Alan is very thorough about everything, attending your venues before hand to look at possible photo opportunities. Alan had some great ideas and was happy to accommodate the kind of photos we were looking for. Throughout our day Alan was a very happy and approachable photographer who all our guests commented on. Our photos we have received are amazing and he has really captured the mood of the day fantastically. I would highly recommend Alan if you are looking for a professional with a touch of personal to add. Great value for money. Many thanks one again.
