        Apart from managing to cremate a body this establishment has not provided remotely good service. A telephone call post funeral to arrange scattering if ashes was handled by a chap who would not have been out of place in a spares department of a mediocre garage. Paperwork completed that day to arrange for engraving of a memorial plaque has now "gone missing" and the person dealing at first claimed our relative hadn't been cremated at Charing. Sorry we think this is appalling, and setting grounds for a formal complaint.

        Tourist information does not usually include cemeteries or crematoriums. Even when you have no family connections they are excellent places to visit for peace and quiet and close contact with nature. This carefully tended woodland covering 18 acres is a splendid and dynamic example.

        My beloved late dad was cremated here back in May of this year. I couldn't get over the amazing grounds of the site. Impeccable and beautiful for sure.

        Well tended, even in November when leaves are aplenty. Toiletsreally clean and well stocked. Grounds peaceful and spaces to sit.
