If I could score it no stars I would! John Burton should not be a vet, he has miss diagnosed and sent my 20 week old puppy home with incorrect treatment leading to my pup die less than 21 hours later! He passed away in my arms at home because of JOHN BURTON! Do not use this veterinarian! No due diligence or compassion provided!

We phoned reception to book an appointment and the lady was quite rude and very blunt with how she spoke. She was also rude in person and has zero customer service skills. The vet, J.Burton had no interaction with our puppy, had no interest in discussing how he was doing and when our puppy had his injection, he huffed when our puppy squealed, didn't pet him for any comfort and walked away from the table leaving him on there by himself. He was also rude to another customer in the waiting room when she came out from seeing him. Also on our way out, he made a young child wait outside due to covid, while the father took their pet inside, it was absolutely chucking it down with rain and she was a child, in the same 'bubble' as him. Correct me if I'm wrong but don't you become a vet because of your love of animals? We will not be using Abbey Vets again. I have no idea how they have any custom.

We have used this service for all our pets over the years. We are members of the pet plan for our dog and we pay approx 13 per month. This includes periodical health checks and booster vaccinations. It also covers monthly Netguard tablets for flee and tick prevention. I have always found the staff and the vet helpful. There is a couple of off road parking places at the front of the building. The waiting room is bright and welcoming. I would recommend this service.

Have taken my dog here since a puppy, taken him today for his annual booster and healthcheck at 5yrs old. However the vet that I saw only seemed to be interested in an ongoing eye condition that I took him there with 3 yrs ago. Was told back then there was no permanent fix for the problem without causing more complications!! (cost me 55 for the consultation and some steroid eye drops that made no difference) I could see the signs in her eyes when she suggested having a further look at it under anaesthetic! As for the health check...... She didn't look at his teeth, and when I asked if she was going to listen to his heart she thought she already had done!! However she did tell me his testicles were fine but had not even physically examined them either. So basically they have put the price up for the annual vaccination saying that it's for a health check too,..... But really it's not!!!
