Used to be great but quality of care has declined very poorly, managers come and go, understaffed. Something needs to change for the best.

Shame on this home and the members of staff in it. Poor quality of 'care' I'm not sure if some of them even know what that word means. My grandad was put in this hell without family input and my god, what I would do now to change the past. I'll give you a list of examples why I wouldn't let them look after my dog, let alone a relative.... 1.The staff only ever showered him on days my Mum booked into visit. 2.His teeth were un brushed. 3.He laid in dirty bed linen 9 out of 10 times. 4.The staff were rough with him when they had a bad day (this has been admitted by the 'thing' that was rough with him!!!!) 5.He'd buzz for attention and waited over 20 mins sometimes for a 'carer' to see to him. 6.He'd often pull his fall mat out of the wall and they would not notice until we said something. 7.They'd leave him with no TV on sometimes. 8.One particular 'carer' was putting on her false lashes in one of the lounge rooms, whilst buzzers were going off... Wow. 9.He broke his wrist whilst in here and his hip, all down to 'carers' negligence. 10.When my Grandad was admitted to hospital, they called once, after 2 week, but not to see how he were, they called to see if he was coming back out or not as they needed his room. I could go on but I think this is enough to put you off using this home. Prisoners get better care and that's not an exaggeration. If you love your family, avoid this home like the plague. 1 star rating is to much, I wish I could select 0.
