I joined this group ten years ago, having been widowed suddenly. I was met with such kindness and really made to feel, I was part of the group from day one. As my fitness improved, I did longer and slightly harder walks. The walks are always lead, taking into account, peoples ability, so if some is struggling, the group waits and encourages that person. There's always plenty of time given to take photos, rest and chat.

Just had very nasty communication from Paul Brunt, calls himself Bruno on the forum he has banned me! He stated I did not let them know I could not walk when I was very ill. I did at all times especially during lockdown when numbers were limited. In my experience a very nasty person and not recommended to spend your valuable pleasure time with.

Best walking group for miles have nice steady walk for the not so fit and longer walks for the better walkers you can build up gradually so if you feel like joining in the harder walks that isnt a problem. Great walk leaders very caring no rushing you about they wait for you, no leaving someone behind. There Are also social nights for you to join and me other walkers, very friendly people.
