Do not go to this surgery. The doctors are incompetent and the staff are rude. My cousin made a complaint as her mother (my auntie) has a health issue that the GP was aware of for years but failed to make the necessary referrals for my auntie to receive treatment. Years later this resulted in her health deteriorating and she now requires surgery. They do not pick up the phone. When they do they are rude and do not follow the GP's policy and code of conduct. If they say they will call you back you won't hear from them for a week. My auntie attended the GP today and the doctor (I don't know his name but he is Nigerian) he dismissed my auntie and informed her she is no longer registered at the practice. She has been registered at this GP for over a decade and this only happened when a complaint was raised by her daughter, instead of resolving the complaint in the best manner and hearing the patients concern. I will not let this slide, I am reporting the doctor to the GMC.

My youngest son wasnt well which resulted him being hospitalised and had a major operation. During these periods his car was parked on our street and was clamped and taken away to the pounding depot by the council vehicle enforcement team because he didnt move his car where there was a notice on the road indicating all cars needed to move for road cleaning. With Dr Kayodes intervention by writing to the council to confirm that he wasnt well during that period to be able to move his car as the council was demanding evidence from his GP, his car was brought back. The surgery in general are very helpful when you need them.

Tried 3 times over the period of 3 weeks to get a repeat prescription for some much needed medication with no success. They dont do prescriptions over the phone either so having to take time off work to go to the surgery, take a piece of paper from their front desk, & drop it into a box 1 meter away from it. Very dated service

Penrhyn Surgery, is possibly the worst doctors surgery in the Walthamstow. You are unable to get an appointment with them. You go on to their E-consult website (As advised by the surgery) to attempt to get an appointment, only for it to say that they have no appointments available. You try and call, but there is a massive queue to the point they are unable to take any other incoming calls. You go into the surgery and they turn you away and tell you to use the E-consult site. You go around in circles and they have no empathy or level of urgency or care for their patients. I have resulted to getting a new doctor as they simply do not care enough to try and help their patients.
