We can't thank James enough for his invaluable guidance and his compassion. The day after our mother passed, we contacted James in a blur of sadness and confusion. He gently talked us through the process and arranged every detail, taking away the stress and worry, and allowing us to really focus on saying goodbye to mum the way that we wanted. James provided a sensitive and proficient service for an unusual situation that involved liaising with another funeral directors in a different area. He has been considerate, informative and supportive about our choices as a family at every step in the process. His firm is also reasonably priced.

When my mum passed away, it was a very difficult time and not something I have had to deal with before. James was kind and considerate, understanding and supportive. He knew what to say at what time and how to say it. He reassured me from the moment he was involved that mum would be in good hands. On the day he picked her up from hospital he kept me informed that she was safe with him, and let me know when she had arrived at the funeral directors. He provided guidance through the process and suggestions for the service where appropriate. Even the small things like nail varnish were discussed. Something I wouldnt have considered. Under such difficult circumstances, James was an absolute rock. I was reassured that mum was in safe and respectful hands. James dealt with all of the parties involved, from the hospital, cars, flowers, crematorium and even the stone mason for the head stone. Taking all of the stress out of an emotional time. There was no pressure at any time, and I always felt at ease. James is genuine, caring and professional. Thank you for everything you did for me and my family. Mum would have loved it!! x
