Truly Amazing Car Garage and Owner!!!!! I was looking at a specific car from this garages website. Went to view it after contacting Gary and we met at that specific time and viewed the car. The garage was a lovely little garage and had such a welcoming vibe. There was no pressure selling with the car. Gary showed us around the car, gave us loads of time to look at it without pressure. Then we took the car on a really decent test drive around loads of different roads with different speeds so as to be able to see and feel the car in different scenarios. The car was brilliant and you could tell that Gary knew about toyota yariss and that he had worked with them a lot in the past. When we got back we decided to pay a deposit for the car and collect in a few days so that the 2 little things we spotted could be sorted and I could tax and insure the car. We collected the car at the agreed time and it was totally as we had agreed. A few days later the extreme hot weather started and I noticed the aircon was not working. I messaged gary and straight away he told me to get a quote and get it mended. When the quote arrived he paid me directly for the work and then I booked it in. Before I bought this car I had a bad experience of a private seller selling me a broken car, but Gary could not have helped me any more than he did. He was not a hard selling salesman like some car dealers have, he was fair and friendly and honest. In fact he couldn't have been a better person. We are a family of toyota and Suzuki drivers and when anyone in the family needs a car we will be ringing Gary straight up to find the next car. Couldnt recommend this garage and Gary any more. The service delivered by Gary at High Peak Cars was absolutely fantastic from start to end! Not to mention very speedy! Gary was very transparent when telling us about the car and its history (which he kept a very thorough record of and passed on upon purchase), and all the recent work that had been done. The car itself is immaculate! Such a genuine and pleasant service, really went above and beyond. One very happy customer with her first car! Thanks so much! Couldnt recommend highly enough.

Viewed a vehicle in stock and didn't purchase on the day as car had rust on the door and was overpriced in my opinion. Viewed a couple of other vehicles which I wasn't happy with, went back to Gary to confirm I will purchase the vehicle to be told he was now busy and couldnt hand the vehicle over to me on the agreed day (sun 4pm). Contacted Gary once again on monday morning to discuss what time i could collect the vehicle that afternoon and he advised me he had arranged two other appointments on the vehicle albeit i had ALREADY CONFIRMED i was purchasing the vehicle. Gary then came up with a pathetic story that someone else had also enquired about the car who he said was my brother and was rude to him, due to this he wouldn't sell me the vehicle! Very strange as a) I dont have a brother b) I have communicated with Gary solely myself through the whole experience and have no reason to ask anyone else to contact him. Strange that a dealer wont sell a vehicle when someone has openly said they will purchase it!

Booked to view the car at ab appointment time. Went to view the car at my appointment. I knocked on the door and there was no answer. Looked around the outside of the car, and at that moment someone else showed up to view the same car. They called the dealer, and said they were here. He greeted them and test drove with them first, even though I was there before them. I waited for the test drive to finish obviously not knowing whether they were going to buy it or not. About 1 and a half later, they came back. He came out of the office and said he was letting them think. I told him that I didnt think it was fair that he viewed with them first but he said to me that I had booked a different time, which wasnt the the case. I said that wasnt the case, and then he told me to leave. I wasnt aggressive, just making it clear how I felt. So a waste of time. Not sure how that was fair. All a very bizarre experience that Ive never faced before
