Latham Hip Surgery

Excellent experience all round. Jeremy took me through the options, and the differences for resurfacing vs total hip replacement, pros and cons, even showed me the 'spare parts'. Having decided to go ahead the whole process from Jeremy and his team was excellent, and I felt completely confident with the procedure. Amazed at how little pain I felt afterwards and recovery going well after 6 weeks back to swimming and cycling. No hesitation in recommending Mr Latham to anyone seeking advice on hip problems.

I have just had my right hip replaced by Mr Latham and his team at the Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital in Chandlers Ford Hampshire and I am thrilled to bits with the results.All that pain I went through has gone. Also the physiotherapy team at the Nuffield are exceptionally good with their advice and support. Brilliant surgeon, with a brilliant team, Mr Platt the anaesthetist was also excellent. Mr Latham carried out a hip resurfacing procedure on me, and I am now, 6 weeks on up and about moving around pain free.

A hip surgeon of great integrity and ability; Mr Latham should enjoy considerable job satisfaction - as indeed should the anaesthetist Dr Mark Platt with whom he has worked so brilliantly for 20 years. What they achieve radically transforms the lives of those who would otherwise suffer chronic pain and consequential deteriorating general health. I for one am extremely grateful once again to be enjoying a normal, active life. With many sincere thanks and much admiration.
