Great menu, friendly atmosphere and dog friendly. Brought some friends down for dinner and a pint and we throughly enjoyed the food. The beer garden is spacious and pretty.

Came in for a small bite for lunch, were told they didn't have any roast beef, we weren't having roasts so that's fine. Went to order and everything we asked for they then decided to inform us all of this was also out of stock. We had already ordered drinks so couldn't leave. Ended up with the wrong chips which also tasted like fish as they must of used the same oil to cook them in as they do the fish. Overall not impressed, staff were friendly and it was clean. Won't be returning

We visited Tuesday evening. Polite staff and made to feel very welcome. We both had the steak sandwich which was very good and extremely filling. It was served with fries which were also delicious. A small salad between us was sufficient to add to the meal, A little bit of a wait but all in all, very nice.
