Barchester - Challoner House Care Home

Visit to the home for a show round was very good. Staff knowledgeable and home very clean. Residents looked well cared for. I would definitely recommend

My Nan stayed here for respite care and I was so impressed with the level of care she received. We were made to feel welcome by everyone and the Home Manager went above and beyond to accommodate us.

Highly recommended!!! Fantastic quality of care given! I could not of asked for a better home for my family member! The staff seem generally sincere in the care given. The food on the menu is lovely and so much variety, my family member is a bit fussy so this was fabulous they are also very Accommodating. So overall good clean facilities, caring staff, the equipment all seems clean and is working order, generally caring and always have my grandads best interests first which sadly was not the case in the last home he was in. And the manager Sarah is lovely and very approachable if there is anything that needs bring up.

Having viewed a number of nursing homes for my Dad, this is the best. I have found all the staff to be extremely professional and friendly. My Dad has been with Challoner for over 18 months. The care he receives is second to none, couldnt be more pleased. All the staff do a fantastic job especially during COVID and kept me informed. Keep up the good work. Thank you

I have been working at Challoner House for over 10 years and have found all the staff very helpful and have had lots of great memory's and stories from friends and family who have come in to visit our home. I think the home as a whole is very clean and pleasant to work in and look forward to many more years of fun and laughter here at Challoner house.
