Stitch Studio Sewing School

When I first went to the stitch studio I could sew but needed help with fitting and finishing garments. Jayne taught me how to alter a pattern to achieve a great fit and from there helped me through the process of making a mother of the groom dress and jacket. More recently I had a vision in my head for a mother of the bride dress and she has guided me via zoom calls to redraft a pattern and make all the necessary alterations to address fit issues. I ended up with exactly the dress I wanted that fitted perfectly. I have learnt so much about pattern drafting and alterations during this process. Jayne is an excellent teacher and I would definitely recommend the Stitch studio whether youre new to sewing or want to build on your skills

I thoroughly enjoyed every workshop I attended from making a skirt pattern block and dress pattern block. Made some lovely garments which look very professional and not homemade. You learn so much in a very friendly welcoming environment. Well worth a visit whatever your sewing skills are.

Choir robes to golf skort, no challenge is too great. Jayne is willing to help and teach skills to even the most modest of seamstresses. I really enjoyed the classes I had at the school.
