We have just come back from a 3 night stay in Woodruff, a 1 bedroom cottage that's made perfectly for 2 people. With a small garden and a private hot tub. This is our second stay here and we have just booked our 3rd visit. Its just perfect. The cottage is warm and cosy, has a log burner and a very comfortable bed and a lovely well equipped kitchen. The hosts , Richard and Kaye are very friendly and on hand should you need them. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and very comfortable for 2 people. There is a lovely spa across the courtyard with a wonderful pool, and a steam room, also offering treatments. A great location for walkers to explore Exmoor, and also a great pub just a 5 minute walk in the village serving great food and drink.

My friends and I had a wonderful 3 night break in the cottage with a hot tub, it was peaceful, relaxing and just what we needed. The treatment therapist was fantastic, a real professional. There was a power cut in the area one afternoon whilst we were there and the hosts could not have looked after us better; they brought us candles, duvets, boiling water and some dinner! We were very well looked after. This is a great place to go if you really want to get away from everything!
