Nice place for a slow afternoon with the kids looking around historic builds. Would be nice if the playground near the Toll House was open. Also the new cafe in the barn, whilst closer to the main entrance, isn't quite as good the old one in the green buildings.

A large park, with multiple historical buildings that were either relocated to it or built. Expect a bit of walking, and the staff are happy to help elderly and disabled visitors to move around in a golf cart. Lots of volunteers that clearly like this museum and are happy to explain the content of the buildings and their historical period. There is also an horticultural side that are linked to the buildings. Great place to bring elderly people for a bit of nostalgia. Plenty of activities for children, too.
