We stayed in Room 2 of the B & B for four nights in July and it was absolutely fantastic. The location is idyllic - completely quiet and private. Our room had it's own entrance and was filled with rustic charm - a big comfortable bed, roll top bath with plenty of hot water, fluffy robes, flowers from the garden, cookies and things to make tea and coffee. The breakfast was amazing - served in the old creamery, Caroline went above and beyond and we were stuffed each morning - there are cereals, yoghurt, compote, homemade jams, freshly baked croissants, fruit, juices, cooked breakfast, including smoked salmon on our last day. Each day we also had a choice of 2 freshly baked loaves of bread (things like rye with cherry, chocolate and walnut and various sourdoughs). The produce was all locally sourced and absolutely delicious. We also had access to a private garden and sitting room. There are also beautiful walks over National Trust land straight from your back door. Overall, would highly recommend and hope to stay again.
