Completed a garage conversion, re-landscaped my garden and installed a garden office. I am so pleased with the end result. I now have the home and space I need. The finished quality of the work is excellent. Stuart was incredibly helpful and patient with all of my questions. Graeme was also brilliant - so calm and reassuring. The project was completed as per the original quote plus extras agreed upon along the way.

Sadly I find myself in the position of writing a negative review for a local business. I had been referred to Mid Sussex Construction Ltd to carry out building work in conjunction with a section of roof replacement work. Unfortunately, after initially attending promptly to review the site, there was subsequently a drop-off in communication and customer service. Emails were not responded to for weeks at a time, and only then when chased by phone. The excuse that they get "a lot of emails" simply is not good enough. After refusing to talk to our architect about additional information that they (the builders) required (from the architect), they subsequently dropped the project and walked away. Throughout it felt as though they were not proactive or interested in providing a high level of customer service. Also, be warned that they "refuse" to engage with Mid Sussex Council's building control, and will only agree to proceed if you use a third party building control company. Unfortunately my dealings with Stuart and Mid Sussex Construction Ltd have left a very sour taste, and I would not recommend their services. Chris Maynard

First used in 2014 for a patio and to replace an old garage door with a window and cat flap. They have now completely converted my garage, block paved the driveway, built new steps and built a secure and waterproof lean to. Everything has been completed to a very high standard & looks fantastic. The whole process has been stress free. Stuart & Graeme are both professional, friendly and communication has been brilliant. Graeme was always on site and everything was completed on time, on budget and the extras I wanted were no trouble. Mid Sussex did and extension and new kitchen for us. Excellent standard of work. Very easy to get on with and always discussed what was happening. They were always planning ahead and organising the best time for trades to come in. They were also very considerate of the neighbours. Can't recommend highly enough!
