Amazing store with great snacks ! Going again

The store often has empty shelves, the drinks fridge doesn't work to keep drinks cool and the staff are often lacking any customer service. Visited today, paid for goods and was ignored whilst the two members of staff talked amongst themselves behind the counter. Very poor customer service by some staff, but not all. Not a great experience considering the prices for the limited items available is higher than elsewhere

The manageress is ridiculously rude and often just ignores you while you wait at the till or she's out the front of the store smoking while the customers que up. She's also often on her phone and doesn't even say hello, please or thank you. How she hasn't been fired is amazing or at least demoted. The other staff that work there do try and are at least friendly but when you have a bad manager I appreciate how this can get them done and they are often trying to do so much at once (again whiles she's often smoking or on the phone) shelves are often empty, the hot food is often not out and post office and tills always empty. Good little shop just needs some structure from a good manager

Tried use the Post Office here on Weds 4 May 22 at approx 0935... was told by Safeway delivery driver stood blocking the entrance ' sorry mate they're closed'. The 2 members of staff who work at McColls stayed silent. I drove 5 miles to use the post office, this is the second time I have had problem using the P.O here ... last time the excuse was they had no Post Office trained staff working! Not good, and last time for me,

Amazing staff. Sometimes the shelves don't have my favourite items, but that is down to McColl's awful stock control system, not the staff. It has a post office too. Can't thank the whole team enough for the help and guidance (and tolerance!) Cheers, Richie Jarvis
