        A beautiful hotel in a stunning location, with fantastic walks directly from the door. We stayed in the Wolf Suite which was glorious with a mezzanine bedroom and huge bath in the lounge, totally indulgent for my big birthday! However, there was an issue with the heating which the staff dealt with satisfactorily. It was a real treat to be greeted with a little bottle of prosecco for my birthday and a tray of hand baked biscuits and great selection of teas. We ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious. The breakfast set us up for the day. The staff were friendly and helpful

        Went for afternoon tea, staff are really lovely and friendly, food was fantastic, even catered for my nut allergy. Hotel was lovely and clean the grounds well kept and beautiful. Will definitely go again and look into the possibility of staying over night
