Shapla Restaurant

We took our young children this evening. Service good, food tasty and price fair. We will go again. Some other reviews mention some dishes being very sweet, we didn't find that, but it depends what you choose. The menu is informative and staff happy to discuss dishes. It was early evening and quiet when we went. We had a toddler who dropped a lot of rice and crumbs but they were fine about it.

The food was absolutely rubbish and overpriced. The first few dishes we ordered were meant to be spicy but they were so sweet, with no flavours. We complained to them about this so they recommend the Madras curry and it was just the sweet curry mixed with a LOT OF red chilli flakes. The whole top of curry was covered in chilli flakes. It was disgusting. The customer service was quite good though, but the chef wasn't. Don't come here, you'll waste your money.
