Hergest and Cavell were recommended to me by Rosewood Care Home. The service they provided was excellent, a wonderful service for my late father, every detail was managed superbly, which really helps when coping with the loss of a family member. Many thanks for all your efforts.

A very compassionate and supporting group of people that helped us tremendously through a very difficult time when we lost our daughter. They talked us through everything and clearly explained it all and the options and choices available. A dog friendly place that were flexible to visits and arrangements. Joanne and Paula helped with the ritual wash which made it so much easier. Any problems or issues encountered, they were able to offer a solution. Thank you very much.

We cannot express our gratitude for the way in which Hergest & Cavell (Paula , Peter & Team) recently handled the arrangements for our Mum's funeral. The professionalism, respect and sensitive way they dealt with everything from start to finish, was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble for them, everything was unbelievably stress free for us as a family. From ordering flowers, which were stunning, designing order of services that thoughtfully matched and the slick and incredibly respectful way the funeral was delivered on the day was perfect. They had thought of everything. Every meeting or telephone call we had felt very personal and sincere. As it is a family owned and run business we truly believe this enhanced the whole experience. Wonderful service from start to finish. Recommend them highly. We contacted Hergest & Cavell after the passing of my dad. We were helped by Rachel ODonoghue. We were treated with respect and felt the funeral directors conducted themselves like extended family! Nothing was difficult, very patient and helpful. They made a very sad occasion, very dignifying and fitting for my dad. Thank you Hergest & Cavell and Rachel.
