Romans Estate Agents Sandhurst

Purchasing a house advertised by Roman's Sandhurst. As many estate agents now offer viewing days, I was disappointed to hear that the house my partner and I was interested in purchasing the viewing day was fully booked. With this and in short, we approached the sellers ourselves, arrange a private viewing and became the successful new homeowners. Our move manager, Catherine McNicholas, contacted us once. Her first and only email was of great use, it broke down the steps we needed from beginning to completion and what we could expect. Within the email Catherine said: "The first couple of weeks can feel a little quiet from us" - I didn't hear from her at all after this email. We managed to organise all elements without continuously updating her. Lewis Woodman-Allan, was supposed to be overseeing our case and was of no use. He forgot to tell the sellers that our mortgage survey was being carried out on the property which resulted in this being moved back by 2 weeks. He said he would chase our mortgage lender for the survey to be pushed forward due to his fault - he failed to do this and even though I called on two occasions to check on his progress, he failed to answer the phone and coincidentally called back once the survey had taken place. In addition, he failed to understand or communicate the collection of the keys on completion (we collected them from the sellers ourselves). Thankfully my partner and I had direct communication with the sellers from the beginning due to our desire to purchase the home (we did not know the owners prior to this). Therefore, at each point where Romans failed, we spoke directly to the sellers. I would not recommend Romans Sandhurst and will definitely not sell with them when the time comes.

All of the team have been incredible and hard working to sell our house quickly. Would like to thank Tom especially for being so helpful and professional through the whole process, making it so easy for us. And thank you to Matthew and Max also for all your help along the way. We couldnt be happier with Romans services from start to finish. You have all helped make the process stress free and been a delight to deal with.
