Sandhurst Day Centre

My Aunt had become very isolated through lockdown and with her advancing Alzheimers meant she wasn't able to do her old activities. The Sandhurst daycentre has been a lifeline, the staff are exceptional - warm and friendly, plenty of variety of activities & even showering facilities to use when her bathroom was out of action. My Aunt has the sparkle back in her eye after a visit here, the difference in her is incredible.This place is an absolute gem. Well done Sandhurst Daycentre & thank you.Keep up the good work!

I cannot praise this day centre enough. When my 90 year old mother started attending in 2022, she was not eating or drinking correctly due to Alzheimer's yet with patience and kindness, the carers prompted her into resuming a normal healthy eating pattern. She attended at least three days a week and thoroughly enjoyed the games and quizzes and was always lucky on the weekly raffle! I have no hesitation in recommending this day centre - it's a hidden gem which would benefit so many other elderly people.

Sandhurst Day Centre is a centre for the elderly . The day centre is open from Monday to Friday from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm, the elderly people have a meal , do activities, Also they have a minibus that picks them up & takes them back home.

i thought i would leave a review because i dont understand why more people havent ! my mother Mary really enjoys her days at the centre the staff from the drivers and the helpers could not more,always happy and helpful my Mum is so lucky to have this facility on her door step Stephen Singleton
