Morrells Woodfinishes Biggleswade

Ive been using morels for just over 10 years regularly making reasonably large routine orders and have unfortunately noticed a progressive decline in their service and a progressive increase in their prices. I placed an order recently and was told it would be delivered within a day or two, its just been delivered at 5pm 8 days later with no apology. Ive always been happy with the products but I wont be placing another order the lack of service for me is just unacceptable there are many other suppliers with more competitive prices and better service.

Morrells products, stain and spray lacquer, were left on site on site by another contractor. Ordered matching products to stain 8 oak doors doors to match staircase prior to discussing application withTechnical Department; advice received for volume use in a domestic environment for these products was contrary to planned use. Hitchen division were flexible in exchanging the unopened stain for a suitable alternative product and allowed a test of the this product with advice on application etc. They also provided product safety data sheets which were made available to the customer/ left on site for the product used. The customer was appreciative of the absence of smell using the acrylic product as against the heavy cellulose smell of the stain which was more suited to a factory applied product/environment. Finish was excellent. A great service from Morrells technical department and Tim in Hitchen.

How often do you find a company in this modern world that has some good old fashioned customer service, rarely but Morrells has it. I recently needed some advice and a small amount of one of their products so wrote an email asking if they could help. They responded quickly and could not have done more to have helped. Thanks Mark and Martin, keep the customer service going, it is rare in the world today. really appreciate your assistance.
