The clothing is expensive but cheaply made. Why pay 100 for bad fabric??

Really lovely products especially the kids clothing, didn't get a chance to check out the other floors as I had my youngest with me in a stroller. A couple of the staff initially seemed a bit guarded and not that friendly, and at the back of my mind I wondered if it was because I am obviously not Jewish, but I don't think that was personal as I saw them be the same with other, orthodox Jewish customers that they did not appear to know personally. Also to be fair one asked me if I was looking for anything in particular and another told me about special offers when I was at the checkout. Perhaps training in customer service could be looked at? I would prefer to shop online with them for convenience but their stock check system isn't fully up to date, meaning when I tried to place an order it was cancelled and refunded, and the product selection is only a fraction of what they offer in store anyway.

If there was an option to give zero stars, I will give that. I went into the Stamford Hill branch of this shop (AW) to look for some hair accessories. I was shocked at the sheer hostility from the looks I received from the ladies serving behind the counter. I was wondering if I had two heads on! Whilst I asked for a specific item which they could not point me in the direction of, it was another customer who was kind enough to show me where the item was. It was clear from the treatment that this was down to racism, which is a shame as I have not had to deal with this in other Jewish establishment in Stamford Hill. I would love to say that this was an isolated incident, however unknown to me, several weeks later my sister experienced the exact same reaction in AW. Whilst the products are great - the customer service is incredibly poor and is lacking in respect - Stamford Hill (where I was born in) is still a diverse area, and AW needs to realise that respect and good service is for all not the few!
