Ive just moved recently to the area and was really anxious about changing surgeries. After being a patient at my old surgery for a 23 years.I chose caythorpe and Im so please I did they have been super helpful and welcoming. I recently was called for a blood test and the nurse was lovely friendly and put me at ease. Love the surgery its lovely and clean and fresh.

A small surgery covering two villages which retains its rural charm. Has moved over to using digital technology with Ask My GP and excelled its service by doing so. No longer do you have to wait 3 weeks to see a doctor, or navigate the labyrinth of interrogation from the receptionist, you can now submit requests online and you usually get a response the same day. With the added joy of cutting out the irritating, unhelpful receptionist. The staff can sometimes come across as quite curt and almost rude but if you strike lucky there is one receptionist (who is not on shift very often) who will actually go out if her way to help you. The Practice Nurses are always super friendly, warm and welcoming. The doctors are a rotated bunch so just when you think you've found a good one who 'gets' you, they've gone again, but nevertheless they are generally good, with the added bonus of now using digital, it has speeded up the process.
