Probably one of the worst carehomes in the uk. They don't bother to take care of residents and leave all the work to new nurses. And staff members are treated poorly. Would not recommend

Poor pay, not respected by management for the hard work the staff do, and are spoken down to by management, do not work here.

My Grandma Joy Spent her final days with dementia here and the staff were unbelievable. They were always caring and comforting with a real sence that the people who work at Whitby Dene weren't just there to do a job but they genuinely cared about my Grandma and her well-being. There is a a lot of fun and engagement with the people staying there which always lifted our spirits to see when we would visit. When Joy did eventually pass members of the team asked to attend the funeral which meant a huge amount to me and especially my mother Zoe to see them there to support us on the day, and for this we will always be grateful.
