Right at Home - Ruislip

I have now been in employment with Right at Home for 5 months as a caregiver, having previously only had experience in the hospitality industry. I wanted to share my experience. Right at Home are professional, courteous and compassionate team to work for. On my first interview Sue was warm and engaging. She explained everything about the companies vision, values and goals. She emphasised the importance for clients to receive the best personal care and support, as well ensuring that caregivers also receive support from the office team. I have had extensive training and support along with showdowing sessions at clients homes with other carers, to ensure I carry out my tasks to the best of my ability. They have assigned me to clients to ensure I get up to speed at my pace.They have always updated me with safety regulations for myself and the clients I look after. They have made me feel very welcome from the start. I am thourougly enjoying my new career. This is a great company to work for and I would recommend it to anybody who is interested in social care. They also provide exceptional care for the elderly, which makes me even prouder to work here.

I am quite new at working within the caregiving field. After 20 years in hospitality I had a great opportunity to join the amazing "RightatHome" team. I would like to thank them for the training and support provided, to become a caregiver with them. I am very proud to be a part of making a difference to so many peoples life.
