I really didn't want to leave an independent company a negative review, however when they dont return your emails or calls, I am simply left with no choice. We booked the services of Battle Removals to move our household contents on March 12th. We chose them based on price and service offered. As discussed prior to moving date, we were expecting 2 vans and wardrobe trolleys. On moving day they only arrived with 1 van and no wardrobe trolleys. Apparently the wardrobe trolleys were being used on another job, which left us to quickly move our clothes into boxes. If this was the case, why not tell us a few days in advance? Due to only 1 van being used on the day, which was fully loaded by 11am, a 2nd trip back to the house was required. Fortunately the new people moving into our house were very accommodating and were happy to allow us back. However this did cause additional stress on an already stressful day. Additionally we chose Battle Removals based on a 2 van expectation, so I am unhappy to be mis-sold a service. The large majority of our contents were moved with no damage, however we have 2 fridge freezers which were both dented in transportation. I brought this to the attention of Battle Removals by email on 21st March attaching photos, asking how we could make an insurance claim or repair for these items. I followed up by telephone on 25th March, speaking to Jo, who explained they are very busy and will come back to me soon. No response. I then followed up by email on 8th April. No response. I then called on 16th April and spoke to Brett. Jos out of the office right now but I will ask her to call you back in an hour. Never received a response. I also called on 30th April leaving a voice mail at 14:13. Again no response. I now have no expectation of any response from Battle Removals but will follow up with legal action to resolve this matter. I am happy to say our 3 movers on the day were very helpful and friendly, I have no qualms with them. However the management of this company is very unprofessional and they clearly dont value customer service. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend using this company. Service: In-state moving
