I was with bluebird as a client unfortunately they let me go as at the time they didn't have enough carers plz let me be with bluebird again u are the best carers I have ever had

Would not recommend. On the surface the care seemed adequate, but I realised that calls were being completed short of the designated times. I questioned this verbally with the team leader who reassured me all was well. I continued to monitor and discovered even the team leader was call cramming. I involved the directors who reassured me that they were making constructive changes. In review they admitted, in their words, deception, and that they had failed to provide a sufficient service. At the same time they were assuring me they were interviewing the carers involved they also made a public declaration of Carer of the Month for one of the repeat offenders. Other issues raised were blamed by them on human error in a challenging environment, error of judgement and glitches in their computer system. An issue of one carer eating food that I believe had been taken from the clients fridge was deemed acceptable if it was perhaps leftovers. The issue of the client expressing concern about being shouted at was denied. Employing a care company is a huge matter of trust, and in this instance all trust was decimated. Maybe I was unlucky but I urge you to be vigilant. I truly hope no one else has to go through the pain and distress that was caused by the actions of this company. I now have a new company in place who have completely restored my faith in the care system.

I thoroughly researched Bluebird Care Lancaster before I applied for the position, I continued to do so throughout my recruitment and onboarding process. I found minimal negative presence online, reviews speak for themselves but of course the saying is true that you cant please everyone! In a nut shell its a beautiful place to work, a nice environment, they (we!) are completely transparent and honest, I love going to work, I love being around the staff and I enjoy what I do. The training provided exceeds any I have ever experienced. You can rest assured that your loved ones are being cared for by the most amazing people trained to the highest possible standard, equipped with the tools and knowledge required to provide the best service. The Care Management team go above and beyond day and night to maintain a happy and safe environment for their staff, on hand to assist when required and always supportive.

Bluebird care are a fantastic care service, And I would recommend them to anyone for employment or looking for huge ranges of home care! All the staff are so friendly and caring and it is definitely the best care provider around!
