Dined here last night having booked based on previous reviews. It did not disappoint. What a superb find this restaurant was. The food was exceptional both in presentation and taste, it far exceeded a meal we had eaten the previous day at a 1 star michelin in London. We were spoilt for choice, everything on the menu sounded scrumptious and made our choices difficult to decide. We could have eaten it all! We would highly recommend dining here you will not be disappointed. Service and friendliness matched the food nothing was too much. So glad we booked our visit based on previous reviews, they were not wrong including the very comfortable chairs!

Stumbled upon this place on google, as we were looking for somewhere to eat to break up a long car journey. And what a gem it was! We had Sunday lunch and each course was incredible. Wish we lived nearer so we could come back soon! So bright and lovely inside, plus great friendly service.

I was looking for a good roast on a Sunday, this came up but it wasnt rated at the top. It should be. I picked here because of a photo Id seen of someone elses meal. I had the same and can say that this is a superb roast dinner. We had bread and olives to start which were lovely. We had our little ones dinner come out ahead and tried that which was super tasty. Then ours arrived and it was everything youd want in a roast. Potatoes were crunchy but fluffy, beef was soft and flavoursome. Gravy was rich and the veg and Yorkshire were yummy. Cauliflower cheese is also really good. A lot of places miss the mark when it comes to a great roast because theyre just not good enough or theyre trying to feed too many people in one go. This place has it spot on. I will say that we parked opposite In the pubs car park, there are a few spaces out the front but you will be lucky to park there. That is the only element this place doesnt have but the food makes up for it tenfold. Really nice relaxed atmosphere with little nooks to talk and drink. But also a nice family atmosphere, our 1 year old enjoyed herself. Would recommended, and Im looking forward to trying breakfast and lunch there. No
