Recently I have received a flurry of sales emails - I asked the sales people where they received my email from and apparently it was from this company - who supposedly confirmed my email and correspondence. I, nor anyone at my company (it is small) have spoken to anyone at this company to confirm any details or correspondence. A very big question mark on where they get their data from and what they're selling..

What concerns me is a data company that uses non opted in data for cold calling. Call received on personal number without any form of consent. Hard sales call with information they should not have. Working in advertising, this is a big red flag. Not only where they get their sales contact data from, but where they actually get their 'B2B' data from.
