Great software! I'm glad to finally have a video interview software designed for recruiting firms. It allows me to send candidate video interviews to not only current clients, but prospects - which I love!

The Customer Success team and Finn in particular are a pleasure to work with. They understand our unique use cases and have worked with us to establish some a-typical processes. The product works well and we are always surprised by the amount of new features. We see video as a crucial function to fairer interview processes and our clients love using Hinterview and the portal.

Expensive and better alternatives on offer. We signed into a 2 year contract and regretted it hugely. Highlights were: Hinterview lost all our data 18 months into a 2 year contract, and couldn't recover the data. Not acceptable. 60% of candidates could not connect or connection dropped. The whole process is long winded from a candidate's point of view, especially if they can't connect or connection drops. We carried out connection comparisons against Google Meets, zoom, TEAMS and LinkedIn. All connected with the candidates when Hinterview wouldn't connect. Hinterview themselves use other parties for video meetings. There are cheaper and more reliable products out there. The integration to the CRM only worked as much as linking the video to the candidate, all candidate information like name, salary, notice period etc do need parse over. The user and client still need to log into Hinterview so I could not see much use of the integration. Honestly I tried to get this software to work for my business and spent a lot of time and money on the product and processes. I became a daily user of the technical support team for a 2 month period. The connection issues got better, but if you are using for mobile devices I would avoid Hinterview. In the end it did work 90% of the time on desktop, but bear in mind you need to prep candidates for clearing cache and cookies before connecting and you may have to spend 5 minutes on the phone to help them connect. Depends on market and level of candidates. In a candidate-driven market, speed of delivery is business critical and after giving Hinterview a go over the past 2 years we have concluded that it slows the process down drastically for both client and candidate. Which has several times lost us business in our early years of trading. Overall very expensive, unreliable, and a lot of promises about the future improvements that didn't happen. I would advise comparing to alternatives - main competitor I would say is ODRA. We will use Google Meet at a fraction of the price. The only sales point against this from Hinterview is "Google Meet is not GDPR compliant".

Great tool and a Fantastic team! Hinterview is an essential part of tech stack and plays a major role in winning us new business. The team are fantastic and the support is unrivalled to any other software we use.

Shocking software - doesnt do anything special, spam you with emails and lock you in to long contracts. This may suit a basic staffing agency but for tech its useless
