Wright or Wrong The negligent, dismissive and arrogant woman server or someone pretending to be a host ruined the experience trying hard to ignore us as we sat immediately in front of her. I have celebrated birthdays, several anniversaries and promotions with family and friends here for 6 + years. The otherwise friendly, talented staff are a nice contrast to this inadequate person. I rarely recall tipping out less than 200+ bill. Sadly I no longer will refer clients or friends to this once Borough Market gem.

We decided to visit this very pricy place following our visit to the theatre (Guys & Dolls at the Bridge - now if you want a stellar review, I could not be more lavish in my praise!!). Starters were excellent, both the oysters and the fish soup in my case. It's the mains that seriously disappointed. The sole came in a very watery sauce indeed, while the linguine with clams came with just a few small clams and almost other sauce and seasoning at all, so it was all but tasteless. After the first serving of wine, the waiter forgot about us so we had to find the bottle to serve more for ourselves.
