Before starting working with Alex, I had been having recurrent shoulder pain that had kept me from doing the exercises that I enjoy, and had been really getting me down. Id also had some knee pain from an historical injury that had kept me from running for several years, and had given up hope of being able to run consistently and freely again. At first, I was a little skeptical of online coaching as I hadnt done it before, and wasnt sure how we could work out what was going on without physical manipulation etc. However, Alexs methodical and analytical approach soon reassured me that we were getting to the root cause of what was causing me pain, and identifying how to fix it. Ive been so impressed with the level of service, the attention to detail, attentiveness and communication, as well as the really considered approach. I am now back to lifting completely pain free, feel stronger than I have done in years, and able to run again which at one point didnt believe would be possible. Along the way, thanks to Alexs expert knowledge and coaching style, I have learned a huge amount about how to prevent injuries and build a consistent, long-lasting foundation for strength that will set me up for life hopefully. I would highly, highly recommend working with Alex for anyone who is suffering from pain but wants to continue to build strength and train, even when they have been told by generic physios in the past that they wont be able to. Did exactly what it said on the tin!

After damaging my back 12 months ago and experiencing deadlift lower back pain, I was looking for someone with a physiotherapy background that specialised in helping lifters rehabilitate post injury. It was surprisingly difficult! Thankfully I found Alex and after an initial consultation we decided to embark on a 6 month program. With weekly catch ups to discuss what was and wasn't going well, I felt fully supported on the program. I started from a standing start after 4 months of inactivity but quickly regained form and confidence with both my deadlidt and squat moving from 100kg to close to 200kg with no recurrence of pain. This achieved our main goal for the program. I would highly recommend Alex on his team for any rehabilitation program.

Alex helped massively with strengthening my shoulders, neck and back after repeated injuries. I could not hit a heavy bag at all for a very long time without significant pain occuring almost immediately. Now I can get back to doing more of the things I love. I would reccomend this to anyone looking to get into strength training or anyone looking to fix chronic injuries

Ive been working with Alex at Strength Physiotherapy for nine months. When I first started with Strength Physio I was suffering from daily knee and shoulder pain. My knee pain had become to the point in which I was limping consistently and couldnt run for more than a mile. Prior to working with Alex I had tried other rehab services with little success. Im now running over 10 miles without pain and am now squatting more weight than I ever have before. My shoulder issues are almost completely resolved as well. He is hands down one of the best coaches Ive worked with.

I was struggling a lot with stiffness and getting back into training after I left my trainer. I was slightly skeptical as there was a lot of money involved in the course with Alex and it was all done online, I usually prefer in person, but I took the plunge anyway. I instantly saw changes in my mobility and pain for the better! There were parts about my body I was not aware were weaker than others! My thoracic range of motion has increased and evened, my internal hip rotation has also improved! I think this coaching is for everyone, specially if there is an area one would like to work on after an injury or chronic muscle stiffness or pain restricting activity.
