I just finished the beginners acting class with Alex and I would highly recommend! I've done a bit of acting in the past, but I still got a lot out of the 7 week course. Alex is a great instructor, I really enjoyed his teaching style and the way he approaches acting. The class was a very safe space. Overall, it was a lovely way to spend a Tuesday night and i'll definitely be doing another course with City Acting!

I have completed 4 courses at City Acting and found them all amazing. Meeting lovely people is always a bonus, and there were many, but the tutor, Alex, is inspirational. He creates a safe space where you really can be yourself and explore feelings and emotions. I thought I'd gone for acting classes, but actually they were more and I developed as a person too! I know it helped others build self-confidence. I have been to Beginners, Character Building, Intermediate and Meisner. Each one developed my skills in different ways, but most importantly becoming more real and more in touch with my feelings. Meisner isn't acting as such, but the exercise is such an amazing way of opening up within. The classes have been so successful for me that I have landed myself a part in a play for KDC theatre, a non-professional charity. I really couldn't have done this without the classes and without Alex's support. It's all been life changing. Go, go, go!

Just one word for my experience with City Acting... AMAZING!! I had the pleasure to be taught by Alex on both the Beginners course and the Communication course. Alex is patient, gives positive constructive feedback, teaches with structure and explains everything amazingly well. Most of all; Alex has made both times super fun and inclusive for us all. If you are considering taking the step to book with City Acting, I cannot recommend it enough!!
