This shop should definitely have a sign saying "Come in Eileen". Dexy Midnight Runners shot their video outside here in 1982. The video features Maire Fahey (sister of Bananarama's Siobhan) also on the single cover and begins as a tribute to 1950's heart throb Johnnie Ray but turns into Rowland's lusty attempts to woo an old girlfriend. Awesome little cornershop, the guys are very friendly, if there is something you need (semi regularily) if you ask they will get it in. I asked for some more ales. it has pretty much all you need.
