A visit to Borough Market is an absolute MUST if you are in London and of course to taste and buy some of the delicious things sold by very friendly owner with all this Croatian specialitys! He offered us a lot of tasting though we explained we could not buy anything travelling from EU (sad but true!) - so very generous and kind! Well be back!

Run by husband and wife team of Chris and Ana-Maria. At this market now more than 10 years. Together a charming combination of skill set perfect to answer all of a customers questions. We bought dried fig and lavender cake and fig jam. The fig lavender cake was a bit too strong my taste but my wife loves it. Im not worried I think it would taste great in a cookie or cake recipe and treat it like a flavour ingredient. Actually the cake without lavender tastes amazing! I will definitely come back to sample more of Croatias products not just for a taste experience but for the relaxed and friendly shopping experience.

So sorry to post this review. I visit borough market and always make a special trip to pick up your produce. But I'm certainly NOT impressed to open the jar of Gerkins only to find them mouldy. I've tried to find your email to tell you how unimpressed we really are. Purchased last week on Thursday. First time opened. I think you may like to check the rest of your stock. Well folks, went back this week months after posting the original review. The manager contacted me with an apology and invitation to pop in when next in London. We met The nicest chap who more than replaced the unfortunate Gerkins. This little place serves up the best of Croatia, my hubby loves the Croatian spiced salami, with the cheeses they sell there. It's a little slice of loveliness. Borough Market should be on every foodies bucket list. Find it on the Southbank behind the Southwark Cathedral.
