Mercure Sheffield Parkway Hotel

I visited this hotel for a business meeting only. The reception was very nice and clean. Very spacious with plenty of seating area. If you like catching some sun the outdoor seating is south facing. Staying here is ideal if you are visiting Sheffield Arena. If you need an early start this hotel is a few minutes away from junction 33 of the M1. There is a lot of building work around the hotel at the moment. You have a Morrisons and a massive chip shop restaurant/take away just minutes away too. Or there are several pubs that do your traditional food too. Travel 10 minutes into Sheffield and you have Meadowhall shopping centre to visit, or another option is The Valley Centretainment where there is plenty of restaurants a cinema plus bowling. 2 minutes drive and you have Meadowhall Retail Park that has shops where between them you can probably get anything you want. Also it is ideal for conferences with its location being where it is with Leeds, Nottingham etc around 35 minutes away. So very central in area and easy to get to from the M1 junction 33.

Modern, clean rooms stayed for 1 night. Comfy beds, air con. New bathroom, spacious and good shower. Complimentary tea and coffee in room with kettle. Hand-wash, shampoo/shower gel dispensers. Clean towels, safe in wardrobe. Hotel in a business park which is still being developed so not much in to see/do within close proximity but it suited our needs just fine. Breakfast was traditional English as well a continental. All self served.
