Lively, friendly and inexpensive town centre pub. Music, live sports TV with weekend disco/ karaoki and live music Sunday afternoon. Nowt changed.

Lovely pub , sometimes you can smell the piss from the toilets though. It's smaller than most pubs but it's got great character and a good enough selection of drinks to choose from. It might look and seem a bit rough if you visit for the 1st time but I'm from the area and not bothered by it , it might seem like it though if your posh or visiting from a posh area. It's well worth a visit and a much better pub than the Glassblower on Bank Street.
