I was recommended this store by an employee at HMV. The Service was 2nd to none. Product knowledge was also first class. I was looking for an amplifier and speakers and I was not disappointed. The whole experience from the first phone call to them helping me load my care up was fantastic. I was made to feel that me getting the right product for my needs was more important to them than money in the till. Well done and I will always use and recommend this shop in the future.

Only had a visit, no purchase on the day, and I didn't intend to purchase that day. The staff member I had discussions with was polite, impressively knowledgeable (pretty good myself from that point of view) and friendly. He also informed me that they do price comparisons and that currently the item I am considering, not in stock currently but available, would be around 10% cheaper than normal (he gave me a precise figure the percentage is mine to avoid specifics in this review).

Good old fashioned service from people who are friendly, knowledgeable and obviously enthusiastic about what they do. Weve bought a few things from them now and wouldnt go anywhere else for HiFi.Were of an age where a lot of the current high tech stuff is not second nature to us, but the two young men weve dealt with explain things very well and are really helpful.

Visited to demo new floor standing speakers to partner with the new Sonos Amp. They couldn't have been more helpful and patient in ensuring I got the most suitable choice for me. They were first class! And the icing on the cake was they were more than competitive on price.

My son and I were looking to purchase a new hi fi system to accommodate our respective vinyl and cd collections. We live near Wetherby and noticed the five star reviews of Eric Wiley. I spoke to Matt on the phone and arranged for us to visit the shop for a demonstration of the equipment they stocked with our respective budgets. The service we received from Matt was absolutely first class and nothing was too much trouble for him as we auditioned a number of amplifiers, CD players, turntables and speakers. It became apparent that he was not interested in selling us some equipment that was beyond our budget, but purely based on our specific listening needs for both vinyl and cd. Matts extensive knowledge of each piece of equipment was unbelievable and we were not rushed in an anyway. The result is that we have now bought two superb hifi systems at a highly competitive price. It is an absolute joy to buy something from a shop who put the needs of their customers first in a very competitive market. Thank you once again to Matt and the team for making this such an enjoyable experience. My wife and I will also be returning to the shop to buy a tv from them in the new year. I have no hesitation in recommending Eric Wiley for all your sound and vision requirements. You will not be disappointed.
